SUMMARY:SVAT Summer Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:This will be our first organized fun run for the summer.  We will be leaving from the SVAT Parking lot\, near the Ranger Camp.  We plan on going to St Martins and enjoy some\nseafood delights at the Cave’s Restaurant and maybe some cave exploring and then back to our starting point.  There will be several stops along the way where we can check out some waterfalls along the route and other interesting points.  The run is free for everyone however the meals and drinks are your responsibility.

The event will kick off at Adair’s Wilderness Lodge\, located at 900 Creek Road\, Shepody\, New Brunswick\, offering ATV enthusiasts an incredible day of fun\, prizes\, and scenic trails.\nRegistration & Event Details:\nRegistration for the run will open at 8:30 AM and close at 10:30 AM\, so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot. This year’s run will be a signed route\, meaning you and your group can depart independently\, simply following the clearly marked trail. The route spans approximately 85-95 kilometers\, giving you plenty of time to take in the beautiful landscape and enjoy the thrill of the ride.\nAs always\, the event is known for its friendly atmosphere and exciting challenges. Along the way\, participants will be treated to some fantastic prizes and a 50/50 draw\, with a portion of the proceeds donated by the club to local charities. SUMMARY:SVAT Dave Ward Lake Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:The Sussex Valley All-Terrain Club is honoured to put on a memorial service at Dave Ward Lake in memorial of David Malcolm Ward\, a Forest Ranger who was murdered in  January 1966 while he was scaling logs.  The SVAT in partnership with the Province of NB have purchased and installed a monument at the lake\, named in honour of Dave Ward. There will be a short service at the monument site on April 26th\, 2025.  The plan is to meet at the SVAT parking lot\, just past Adair’s Wilderness Lodge at 10:30 am where we will board a bus that will take us to the site.  After the service we will come back to the old Ranger Camp where we will enjoy some light refreshments before departing.  There is no charge for this event.
